Reiks & Abs Nice – Kendama

Those of you who are Latvian probably know Reiks as a local hip-hop artist, well now it has changed as he is switching up with some english in his songs and hopping on the huge Kendama wave happening now in Latvia together with singer Abs Nice.

The music video itself was shot in some crazy places, including an airport, on a skyscraper and even in some local school, where Kendama seems to be forbidden?!

In my opinion the best shots were definitely on that skyscraper with Riga, the beautiful capital of Latvia in the background. What do you think?

For those of you who are still unknown to what is Kendama, let me share some knowledge:

The kendama (けん玉, “sword [and] ball”) is a traditional Japanese skill toy. The ken has three cups and a spike which fits into the hole in the ball. The principle of these toys are the same: catching one object with another, where both are joined by a string. However the modern kendama style takes influences from a diverse range of skills including yo-yo, diabolo, and juggling.
