In case you didn’t know, the National Football League final is a major sporting event for US residents and American football fans in the whole world.
The “Super Bowl” annually catches the attention of a huge number of viewers – over the past nine years, none of the broadcasts have gathered an audience of less than 100 million people. The point here is not only about the game itself, but also about the huge show. For many years, brands have presented expensive commercials – the price of a 30-second video is more than $ 5 million. At the same time, the main performers entertained the audience during a break.
Who, Where, When?
The main game of the season will take place on Sunday, February 3. At the arena of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the city of Atlanta, where this year’s battle between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams is set to provide more must-watch viewing. Despite the fact that the “Patriots” are deliberately considered favourites, their victory is far from guaranteed. So do not miss out on the excitement and the drama by the big game, and the Super Bowl itself.
Who will perform?
And of course, we must not forget about one of the main components of this event – the performance of the music elite stars. The choice of artists, by the way, always became a problem for the organizers – often many performers flatly refused to perform. At the same time, additional difficulties arose in connection with the scandals regarding the performance of the US anthem. After Colin Kaepernick knelt on the knee during a hymn to protest the violence perpetrated by the American police, he was blacklisted in the league. However, this year’s headline is Maroon 5, besides them, rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi will take part in the show.
Another major record for Tom Brady?
The 41-year-old Tom Brady has been in Patriots for about 19 years and already has the record for the most wins as a starter thanks to his extensive postseason success. This is Brady’s ninth Super Bowl. He already owns the record for the most Super Bowl appearances by any one player. If the Patriots win, Brady will set the record for the most Super Bowl wins by a player with six. He’s currently tied with Charles Haley with five. But with a loss, Brady would tie Jim Kelly for the most Super Bowl losses by a starting quarterback in NFL history.
